Alejandro Garnacho's 'preferred' future as Man United's Rasmus Hojlund plan made

Manchester United are expected to make major moves in the summer transfer window after a disappointing Premier League campaign.

The Reds are currently languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table and Ruben Amorim has been unable to rally the troops at Old Trafford. Several new faces are expected in the United squad by the time the season starts in August.

But to do that, United will need to look at selling players. In our latest look at the media headlines, MEN Sport gives its take on two players who are currently facing uncertain futures at the club.

According to TEAMtalk, United winger Alejandro Garnacho would prefer a move to La Liga if he is to leave the Reds in the summer. It is thought that Garnacho would eventually like to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo and sign for Real Madrid.

However, his only option in Spain at present is their rivals Atletico Madrid. Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly keen on the Argentine along with the mainstay interest from Napoli and Chelsea.

It has been reported that United would accept bids in the region of between £50-70m in the summer. During January, the Reds rejected a bid in the region of £40m from Napoli for Garnacho.

What MEN Sport says: " There is definitely a talented player in Garnacho and perhaps Ineos are to blame for this, but the youngster will not flourish in Amorim's system. He needs to be in a team who will relish a winger. United are not currently that team. He does not fit into the no.10 roles behind the loan striker nor is he a wing-back so maybe the best option for the Reds is to sell him and use that money on players who do fit the system better."

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, there is currently no plan to sell Rasmus
