Aldi, Asda, and Sainsbury's recall number of pastry products over contamination fears

A variety of chilled pastry products are being recalled following a contamination warning.

The Compleat Food Group has issued the recall over fears that they may contain small pieces of metal and plastic which would make them unsafe to eat. If customers have purchased one of the chilled pastry products, they are being asked to return it as soon as possible and not attempt to consume it.

The products come from a variety of supermarkets including Asda, Aldi, and Sainsbury's. A full list of the products being recalled has been provided below:

Customers who return the products to the respective retailer should be able to receive a full refund, according to the Food Standards Agency.
