Ajax vs Feyenoord abandoned as crazy pyro lobbing-yobs can't handle Celtic's rival romping on enemy territory

Dominant Feyenoord's pasting of Ajax in Amsterdam has been abandoned as hooligans caused chaos by lobbing flares onto the pitch which sparked two suspensions before the game was struck off.

Arne Slot's side – basking in the glow of their 2-0 Champions League win over Celtic – were utterly dominant before the madness as they led 3-0 at the break. And the rousing display of the men from Rotterdam was too much for yobs in the home crowd with the Johan Cruyff Arena as their thuggish behaviour placed a black mark on the iconic fixture.

Ajax are facing having the book thrown at them by the Dutch FA after similar scenes took place during a stormy clash with Groningen last season. And now Feyenoord are set to earn all three points by default in a game they dominating. Officials tried to restart the game twice but the hooligans in red and white wouldn't play ball.
