'Agent Harry Maguire' - Manchester United fans say the same thing about message to Harry Kane

A number of Manchester United supporters have called on captain Harry Maguire to try and convince England teammate Harry Kane to seal a move to Old Trafford this summer.

The duo are currently away on international duty and both played key roles in Thursday night's 2-1 win over Italy to start the Three Lions' European Championship qualifying campaign with a victory. On an evening when England won in Italy for the first time since 1961, Kane wrote his name into the record books, scoring his 54th goal for his country to become England's all-time top goalscorer.

Already a goal to the good following Declan Rice's early opener, Kane doubled Gareth Southgate's side's advantage from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time. He converted the ball from 12 yards to surpass Wayne Rooney's previous record of 53 Three Lions goals.

It, of course, meant the night belonged to Kane, who also played a key hand in the opening goal of the contest. He was hailed by England supporters, pundits and former players, being sent countless congratulatory messages.

Among those to congratulate him was Three Lions teammate Maguire, who produced a solid showing in Naples to once again prove his worth to Southgate and the national team, despite earning limited opportunities at Old Trafford this season.

Taking to Instagram to share a picture of all the England players celebrating Kane's achievement in the dressing room after the game, Maguire said: "Congratulations, mate. What a player."

Unsurprisingly, such is United's interest in signing Kane ahead of the summer transfer window, Reds fans quickly flooded Maguire's post with comments calling on the latter to convince the Tottenham
