AEW Rampage Results: House Of Black dominant in trios action.
Last night’s AEW Rampage saw a plethora of high calibre matches. Featuring the likes of Keith Lee, Leyla Hirsch, Red Velvet and The House Of Black as they looked to add another win onto their AEW records.
Darby Allin def Butcher-
With the rivalry between the AFO, Allin, Stig, and The Hardy Boyz heating up, Darby Allin went one-on-one with the AFO’s Butcher.Butcher would showcase his strength for the majority of the bout, manhandling Allin both inside and outside of the ring momentarily incapacitating the daredevil.However, a sunset flip to the outside from Darby, followed by a huge Coffin Drop to the outside saw Allin pick up a huge victory via count-out.Post-match saw a confrontation between the AFO, Allin, Sting, and the Hardy Boyz as a challenge for an 8-man Texas tornado tag match on next week’s AEW Dynamite.
Red Velvet def Leyla Hirsch-
Former friends turned bitter rivals, Hirsch and Velvet collided to see who would get bragging rights.
Hirsch’s plan throughout the bout was to take her time and dissect Velvet as she synched in an array of submissions.
However, Velvet did gain some offence in the bout but an assist from Kris Statlander, preventing Hirsch from using a piece of exposed turnbuckle allowed Velvet to capitalise and pick up a huge victory.
House Of Black def Fuego Del Sol and Bear Country-
The House was looking to go 2 and 0 in their trios record after disposing of Death Triangle and Erick Redbeard at AEW Revolution.
Fuego and Bear Country were looking to upset the House and got some strong offence at times within the match. However, they were instantly stopped in their tracks as Fuego was met with a huge running knee strike mid-air courtesy of Buddy Matthews before finishing him off with a signature
