AEW: Matt Hardy reveals the AEW tag team The Hardy Boyz want to face.

Matt Hardy recently spoke to Bleacher Report where he discussed the AEW tag team that he wants to face when his brother, Jeff’s non-compete clause expires.

With Jeff Hardy’s recent social media cementing a good chance that he will be ALL ELITE very soon, it is evident that there is excitement in the wrestling world at the possible opponents in AEW’s stacked tag team division that the Hardy Boyz could be facing very soon.

In his interview with Bleacher Report, Matt made it clear that it would be very cool to face a lot of up and coming teams as they are fresh talent in which they have never stepped in the ring with and it would be especially cool if they could do something in AEW.

However, the one team that Matt spoke about highly when it comes to facing is none other than The Young Bucks.

The Young Bucks have been a pioneer of tag team wrestling over the past decade in their runs in ROH, NJPW and now AEW. The two teams have collided one time before and this was at ROH SuperCard Of Honour XI.

The Young Bucks were victorious in this bout winning the ROH Tag Team Championships from The Hardy’s. Matt Hardy after this match said that The Young Bucks were the best team he has faced in 25 years.

Therefore a moment to relive this rivalry with the Bucks having way more tag team experience could lead to one of the greatest tag team matches ever.

Matt Hardy stated:

“I’d love to do a Young Bucks v Hardy Boyz series at some point”

It’s clear Matt Hardy wants The Hardy Boyz to be around for a good tag team run as tag team wrestling is more exciting than ever.
