AEW: FTR to go one-on-one in Owen Hart qualifier next week.

The Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament qualifiers are way underway. There was a shock announcement last night on Dynamite that current tag champions will collide with each other in next week’s qualifier.

It was revealed that current AAA and ROH Tag Team Champions, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood will go one-on-one to see who will join ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe and Kyle O’Reilly in the bracket.

Cash and Dax have been on a roll recently after claiming their second piece of tag team gold after beating former ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes at the recent ROH Supercard Of Honor event.

FTR have also made it clear that they intend to win more gold as they confronted the AEW World Tag Team Champions the Jurassic Express after the Express defeated reDragon to retain their titles.

However, that will have to be put on standby as Dax and Cash will have to fight each other to determine who will get a shot at winning the Owen Hart cup.

Both men have expressed their admiration and respect for the Hart family so this could be a potential match of the year candidate as the TopGuys collide to determine who is the Top Guy on the day.
