AEW: Former WWE star appears on Rampage

Rampage last night was a stacked card however an unexpected return had the AEW fans out of there seat.

During a segment on Rampage between Death Triangle and The House Of Black Alex Albrahnates issued a challenge to The House for a six-man tag team match this Sunday at AEW Revolution.Malakai Black and co saw it as if Albrahantes was sacrificing himself to The House Of Black by partaking in this match.

However, as Malakai, Matthews, and King confronted Death Triangle at ringside, Albrahantes revealed that he wasn’t partaking in this bout.

This took the crowd by surprise as it was evident that Fenix wasn’t returning anytime soon as there had been no reports of it.

It was revealed that the mystery partner for Pac and Penta Oscuro was none other than Erick Redbeard formerly known in WWE as Erick Rowan.

Redbeard was released from the WWE in April 2020 and hasn’t been on many promotions since.

However, this isn’t the first time we have seen him in AEW. Redbeard first appeared on AEW at the memorial show for one of his dearest friends, the late great Brodie Lee.

It is unclear whether Redbeard is officially ALL ELITE or if this is a one-off, none the less this should make for a great tag team match that will take place on the Revolution Buy-In.

You can watch AEW and AEW Revolution internationally on FITE TV.
