AEW Dynamite Results: The ELITE book their ticket to the Trios Tournament finals

Last night on AEW Dynamite saw the long-awaited dream match between the United Empire and The ELITE as they collide in the Dynamite Finals of the AEW Trios Championship tournament.

Plus, Undisputed AEW World Champion Jon Moxley addressed his situation for this Sunday’s All Out Pay-Per-View and so much more.

Moxley took to the ring through a Chicago crowd that was giving the new Undisputed AEW World Champion a mixed reception after his recent victory over CM Punk to unify the titles.

The champion expressed some heated words towards Punk, aiming multiple shots toward “The Best In The World” before revealing that he had an open contract for anyone to sign to challenge him for the title at All Out.

Moxley left the ring with the contract still in the centre of the matt before AEW staff member Ace Steel stormed to the ring to pick up the contract and take it backstage.

Bryan Danielson def Jake Hager-

Danielson looked to make a statement to Chris Jericho before All Out by defeating the JAS’ powerhouse Jake Hager.

Hager dominated most of the bout, even putting Danielson through the table with a huge slam and utilising his strength advantage to keep Danielson grounded.

Danielson looked like he couldn’t get the momentum in this match, with Hager looking too strong. However, his cockiness and taunting gave Danielson the advantage as he rocked Hager with a missile dropkick.

Hager would break out of numerous submissions from Danielson, but The American Dragon’s speed allowed him to dodge Hager and hit a running knee out of nowhere to pick up the win.

Post-match saw the JAS attack Danielson but were met by Castagnoli and Yuta. Jericho slipped into the ring with a steel chair, but Daniel Garcia would interject,
