AEW: Adam Cole injury update

It looks like AEW’s long-term injury crisis gets worse as there is news surrounding the situation of Adam Cole after his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match at Forbidden Door.

Before Forbidden Door, Adam Cole hadn’t been in singles action since his Owen Hart Foundation Cup victory at Double Or Nothing over Samoa Joe. It was said that Cole was dealing with a torn labrum but remained on television due to the angle he was in.

In the build-up to Forbidden Door, there were numerous segments involving Cole confronting former friend turned rival Hangman Adam Page in regards to who should challenge Bullet Club leader Jay White for his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door.

We wish Cole a speedy recovery, but it makes storylines regarding the Undisputed Elite unknown as both reDragon members Kyle O’Reilly
