Adam Thomas shares support for 'favourite' BBC Strictly Come Dancing co-star as he 'feels like proud dad'

Adam Thomas has said he feels like a 'proud dad' as he backs his Strictly Come Dancing star to go on to do big things. The actor previously spoke about joining Ellie Leach in the BBC One dance contest before the 2023 series kicked off back in September.

Adam, 35, said at the time of the actress: "I know Ellie Leach, she was obviously in Coronation Street and she is from Manchester, and she is like a little sister and a joy as well. Having a familiar face on the show makes it easier."

Ellie, who is known for having played Faye Windass in ITV's Corrie for 12 years before her exit earlier this year, also said of the Waterloo Road star: "I have known him for a long time because he’s really close to my cousin," she revealed, seemingly referring to fellow former Corrie star Brooke Vincent.

She added at the time: "I kind of grew up with them and when I was younger, I was with Adam and his brothers Ryan and Scott at lot. I feel like he's going to look after me. Although, I might be looking after him!"

And now Adam has shared how he's still supporting Ellie after sharing a photo of her with his two children, Teddy and Elsie, following Strictly's Halloween special alongside which he wrote on his Instagram Story: "My kids' favourite [cryling laughing emoji] and mine."
