Aberdeen vs Rangers gets English Premier League treatment as fixture earns marquee Sky spot
The final game before the split between Aberdeen and Rangers will be shown live in Sky Sports' traditional Premier League slot on Sunday, April 23.
The Scottish Premiership rivals will meet on Matchday 33 and the broadcaster has plumped for the 4.30pm slot usually reserved for English football's top flight. But with the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United in FA Cup action it's one of Scottish football's biggest encounters which will be beamed across homes in Britain on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
Sky have also announced Hearts vs Ross County will be aired at midday on Saturday, April 22 as part of a jam-packed weekend of action as teams jostle for spots before the league splits into two for the final five games of the season. Interim Dons boss Barry Robson has his side pushing for Europe and Michael Beale currently remains undefeated in the Premiership since returning to Ibrox in December.
