Aaron Wan-Bissaka reveals what Casemiro has brought to Manchester United dressing room

Aaron Wan-Bissaka believes Casemiro has added an elite mentality to the Manchester United squad and makes those around him "feel comfortable".

Brazilian midfielder Casemiro joined United for £60million last summer, penning a four-year deal with the Reds that will keep him in Manchester until at least 2026.

A five-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid, Casemiro's leadership and mentality has been at the core of this season's successes, with United ending their six-year trophy drought with Carabao Cup glory in February.

''Since he came in he’s made players around him feel comfortable," Wan-Bissaka told club media when speaking about Casemiro. ''He’s got the experience of winning trophies and is someone who you want to impress [as a teammate]. He’s someone who has encouraged me to keep going, to keep improving and keep doing what I’m doing.''

There is still so much to play for with less than a month of the season left, with a place in the top four not yet guaranteed and an FA Cup final against Manchester City to look forward to. Consecutive defeats at Brighton and West Ham have increased the pressure on United in the league, but Wan-Bissaka has urged his teammates to stick together.

"Yeah, it’s never easy,'' the Reds defender said of the demands of the Premier League. "No team in the Premier League is easy to play against but, for us, we just need to stick together and keep the right mindset going forward.''I think we’re heading in the right direction, but we just need to take each game step-by-step to reach our goal, which is finishing in the top four."

United can re-establish a four-point gap between themselves and fifth-placed Liverpool on Saturday
