Aaron Ramsey forced to make dramatic decision at airport after three transfer offers

Juventus' plot to offload Aaron Ramsey on deadline day have been boosted with three teams in the mix to sign him.

Ramsey has been deemed surplus to requirements in Turin, failing to start a single Serie A game all season.

And according to the Athletic, the 31-year-old is currently at a private airport making a final decision between an unnamed Premier League team, Rangers and a big club on the continent.

Injuries have also restricted the Welshman’s opportunity, with his last appearance coming all the way back in October.

Ramsey appeared to take aim at Juventus boss Massimilano Allegri in October, claiming that reports over his chequered injury history had been overstated.

“I know what I can do and with the right management I can stay fit for a long period of time and play a lot of games,” Ramsey said.

“I’m still feeling good, when given the opportunity and managed correctly. It has been frustrating that I have picked up these little niggly injuries which have cost me a lot of games and meant I have missed some important games for Wales in the last couple of years.”

But with 18 months remaining on the contract he signed in 2019, the Old Lady are looking to offload him, initially on loan for the rest of the season.

The former Arsenal midfielder has reportedly been offered to a number of Premier League clubs, although he has rejected a number of moves already.

According to Mail Sport; Burnley, Newcastle, Everton and Crystal Palace have all registered their interest, with the midfielder turning down at least three opportunities.
