Aaron Ramsey drops Rangers fitness hint as Juventus loanee pledges to 'really contribute' to final run in
Confident Aaron Ramsey is targeting a key role in Rangers end of season Europa League and Premiership battles as he ramps up his fitness.
The Welshman has been used sparingly since his blockbuster arrival from Juventus in January having been hampered by injury.
But after starting the Scottish Cup victory over Dundee he looks to be nearing full fitness with Rangers.
Now he insists he wants to have big say in the battle with Celtic and in the European push.
Ramsey said: "There is a great group of lads here who have made me feel very welcome.
"I'm itching to get out there now and show what I can do.
"I've played a couple of games since coming here but hopefully now I can kick on and really contribute to what is going to be the business end of the season."
The Welshman also had high hopes of seeing off Braga and extending the Ibrox side's impressive Europa League run.
When asked by Sky Sports if "he dares to dream" how far Rangers can go, he said: "Yeah of course.
"It's going to be a tough game against them (Braga) in the quarter-finals, but yeah why not? You are in the quarter finals of a competition, so anything can happen at this stage.
"It's important for us to focus on the first game first, and then come back to Ibrox in hopefully another memorable night."
