A40 gridlock as two buses crash in Carmarthenshire – live updates

A crash involving two buses and a car is causing traffic gridlock in Carmarthenshire. It has happened on the A40 near the Cross Hands roundabout.

Dyfed Powys Police has said that no injuries were reported in the accident that happened around 7.20am.

The carriageway is partially blocked after the accident at the A4242 Pontlesneven roundabout. Traffic monitors are showing that congestion is to before Llanllwch turn-off and there are delays on St Clears Road and other routes into Carmarthen as traffic avoids the incidnet.

Travel time is 20 minutes in the area and people are reporting gridlock on surrounding roads. Recovery is underway at the scene.
