A 'vibrant' teenage Christmas market is on its way to a Greater Manchester town

A Christmas market aimed at showcasing products and talents of young people is on its way to Middleton.

The Teenage Market will be held at Middleton Gardens on December 1, from 11am until 3pm, and is free to attend. It provides a platform for young traders and performers aged between 13 and 25 from across the borough a chance to showcase their creative products and talents for free.

The event will feature free creative workshops inside the newly opened Art House. The Teenage Market is a fast-growing nationwide initiative set up by teenage brothers Joe and Tom Barratt in Stockport, in a bid to transform town and city centres with the creativity of young people.
