‘A simple one’ – West Brom fan pundit makes Grady Diangana selection claim as Blackburn clash looms

West Bromwich Albion will be aiming to secure a much-needed victory tonight when they face Blackburn Rovers at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies recently slipped to ninth in the Championship standings following defeats to Preston North End, Millwall and Sheffield United.

Considering that West Brom manager Steve Bruce will be determined to win his first home league game in charge of the club, it will be intriguing to see what side he opts to select this evening.

Whilst Jake Livermore, Kyle Bartley, Daryl Dike and Matt Phillips are all set to miss this fixture, one of the players who will be keen to make a positive impression for the Baggies today is Grady Diangana.

The winger has only managed to provide three direct goal contributions in the Championship this season as he has struggled with his consistency at this level.

Currently facing competition for a place in West Brom’s side from Callum Robinson, Diangana will know that he will need to step up his performance levels in order to become a key part of Bruce’s plans for the future.

Ahead of tonight’s clash, West Brom fan pundit Matt Smith has admitted that he believes that Diangana should start against Blackburn.
