A Plague Tale Requiem Release Date Reportedly Leaked

A Plague Tale Requiem is the upcoming sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, and now the release date appears to have been leaked.

The stealth action sequel from Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment looks to build upon the success of the original, with many fans lauding the approach to the genre that the first game implemented.

Whilst some leaks need to be taken with a grain of salt, this information comes from an official source and hopefully could be correct.

Here’s everything you need to know about the leaks surrounding the apparent release date of A Plague Tale Requiem.

The Microsoft Store lists the game as having a release date of June 17th 2021. Whilst the 2021 element of the release date is clearly spurious, there’s a good chance that the actual release date will be Friday 17th June 2022.

Again, this date is not confirmed but it is interesting that it has been added to the official information listing on the Microsoft site.

It’s also worth noting that the game is currently available to pre-load on Xbox consoles, so the chances of the June 2022 date being accurate are quite high.

There has been no official response from Asobo Studio, Focus Entertainment or Microsoft regarding the leak, and it’s likely that we won’t hear anything from them until the official launch date is revealed.
