Origin will be an open-world action RPG planned for release on PC, console and smartphone.

Following the original story of Grand Cross, 7 Deadly Sins: Origin will feature a multiverse-based story as well as a brand new protagonist.

It is not currently confirmed whether or not 7 Deadly Sins: Origin will be a Pay to Earn game when it is finally released.

A leaker on Twitter, @7DS_origin, has revealed some information regarding the game and the potential of the new title having a Pay to Earn system.

They tweeted: “While it’s true that Netmarble is focusing on the P2E (Play to Earn) aspect and already confirmed a few upcoming Games being P2E, SDS Origin is as of now not one of the Confirmed Games! But Netmarble could still Announce in the Future that this Game will be P2E.

“Since some Users are confused about what P2E is here is a quick/small explanation:

P2E games refer to the concept of gaming in which a platform provides its players with a chance to earn any form of in-game assets that can be transferred to the real world as a valuable resource.”

We’re hoping that Netmarble will be able to confirm at some point in the near future whether or not 7 Deadly Sins: Origin will be a Pay to Earn title, as this will drastically alter the perception of the game and the hype surrounding it.
