Despite the smash-hit number one single ‘Killeagh’, two headline arena shows in Dublin, and 100+ million streams under their belt, Irish trio Kingfishr are just getting started.

In anticipation of the release of their long-awaited debut album ‘Halcyon’ on August 22, the band have shared a brand new single ‘Diamonds & Roses’, alongside details of a UK and European headline tour.

An album that has been described to feel like an instant ‘best of’, ‘Halcyon’ charts Kingfishr’s journey so far, from early breakthrough favourites ‘Flowers-Fire’ and ‘Eyes Don’t Lie’, to new highlights such as ‘Killeagh’, ‘Gloria’, and ‘Man On The Moon’. But there’s also a wealth of brand new material ripe for discovery, as well as two extra tracks on the album’s CD and digital formats. All in all, the album is a striking statement of intent from a band who find the commonality between the dynamics of contemporary indie-rock and the soul of their traditional Irish roots.
