Norwich City may have to look elsewhere in facing competition from other clubs in pursuing Sunderland’s Ross Stewart this summer.

Pete O’Rourke confirmed that Rangers may be Stewart’s preferred destination if he is on the move this summer, when he said: “Rangers we’ve seen have had such a great run in the Europa League as well this season, that’s going to be a big attraction to players.

“If Rangers are playing in Europe next season whether that’s Champions League or Europa League, they’ve got that to offer, and they’re a huge club, I think if Sunderland don’t go up they could find it hard to keep hold of Stewart.”
