2024 NFL combine draft risers: Mel Kiper picks top workouts - ESPN

How great was the 2024 NFL combine? We had a couple of broken records, including the fastest 40-yard dash via Texas' Xavier Worthy. We saw extremely talented wide receiver and offensive tackle classes live up to the hype. And though the top three quarterbacks and top two wideouts didn't go through workouts, more than 300 prospects went through on-field drills, medical testing and in-person interviews with coaches and front office executives for all 32 teams. It's the most important event on the way to Round 1 of the draft, which begins April 25.

I'm not sure we'll see any back picked in the first two rounds. I came into the combine with an open mind about the top of my rankings, which looked like this headed into the event:

Jonathon Brooks, Texas

Trey Benson,
