2024 NFL AFC, NFC Championship odds: Bills, Eagles become new favorites

The NFL playoffs are inching closer. In fact, a number of teams have already booked their tickets.

Could you have guessed that the defending champion Chiefs are already in?

So far, joining them as guaranteed playoff participants are the Bills, Eagles, Lions, Steelers, Texans and Vikings. The rest of the field is in flux. 

With that, it's time to look at which teams will make it to the final weekend and play in Super Bowl LIX. Let's check out the odds at Draftkings Sportsbook, as of Dec. 18. 

NFC Conference Winner Odds:

Eagles: +220 (bet $10 to win $32 total)
Lions: +230 (bet $10 to win $33 total)
Vikings: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)
Packers: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)
Buccaneers: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)

The Big Picture: The NFC is stacked at the top, with the Lions, Eagles and Vikings all sitting at 12-2, after Detroit's loss to Buffalo in Week 15. Detroit has tiebreakers on its side right now, but can it hold on to the top seed? It has three games left: home against Minnesota, and on the road against San Francisco and Chicago. The Eagles, meanwhile, have Dallas and the Giants at home, and Washington on the road. Minnesota has Green Bay at home, and Seattle and Detroit on the road. The top seed, which will determine the road to the Super Bowl, is truly up for grabs.
