2024 NBA playoffs - Bets, lines and stats for Magic-Cavaliers Game 7 - ESPN

The NBA has just one game on this Cinco de Mayo, the final game of the first round of the playoffs. The Cavaliers and Magic are the only series to go to Game 7. So far, the home team has won every game in the series. There have also been some memorable performances from some of the star players. What will Sunday hold? Let's explore to find some angles of interest.

Darius Garland over 17.5 points (-115). After a slow start to the playoffs in which he averaged only 12.0 PPG on 41.9 FG% through the first four games, Garland has found his shot in the last two. In Games 5 and 6, Garland averaged 22.0 PPG on 57.6 FG% with at least 21 points in both games. This tracked better with his regular-season performance against the Magic, when Garland averaged 26.7 PPG on 50.9 FG% in three games.

Evan Mobley over 1.5 total blocks (-180). There isn't a lot of juice here, but Mobley has been consistent on the defensive end of the floor during the playoffs. He has at least one blocked shot in all six games, and has at least two blocks in five of the six games. The Magic aren't the greatest shooting team, and all the action in the paint lends itself to Mobley's shot blocking. Mobley had five blocked shots in Game 6, and has 12 blocks in the most recent four games.

Paolo Banchero over 24.5 points (-115). Banchero has exploded on offense, scoring between 27 and 39 points in three of the past four games. Banchero is the clear top option for the Magic, and he seems to be too quick and/or strong for the Cleveland frontline to stop. If his shot is falling, he should put another big number on the board on Saturday.

Cavaliers on the money line (-160). The home team is undefeated in this series. The last two games have been close enough that I don't
