2 transfer developments we could see emerge at AFC Bournemouth as the summer window looms

Bournemouth are having a strong season under Scott Parker, currently sitting second in the Championship.

They won all of their league games in February and they will be hoping to carry on their form as the season comes towards an end in the hope of securing promotion back to the Premier League.

However, if they want to remain in the Premier League they will need to be thinking about what additions they can make to their squad to ensure they are strong enough to retain their place.

As the season starts to draw to a close, here we have a look at two possible transfer developments that could happen in summer.

Should Bournemouth fail to gain promotion to the Premier League this season, they may risk losing their forward Dominic Solanke.

Solkane signed for the Cherries in January 2019 and has since done very well for the side making 113 appearances and scoring 38 times.

The 24-year-old is currently the second top scorer in the Championship only behind Mitrovic at Fulham. Therefore, if Bournemouth find themselves subjected to the Championship again next season, they may need to prepare themselves for some bids offering to take Dominic Solanke away from them.

Although he couldn’t make himself a career at Liverpool, he still was able to score one Premier League goal in 21 appearances which isn’t bad for a young player at such a talented side.

However, now he is older and has time to experience playing regular football allowing him to develop his game, there’s no reason why he wouldn’t be able to succeed in the Premier League now.
