A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital this afternoon following reports of a stabbing. The 15-year-old remains in hospital care after the incident in Albert Park, Salford at around 4pm.
All traffic has been brought to a standstill on the motorway close to the Trafford Centre following a 'serious' collision. The incident happened on the M60 clockwise between between Junction 10 (Trafford Centre) and J11 (Eccles) at around 4.30pm.
The M60 anti-clockwise has been closed "due to a police incident" that occurred around 5 o'clock this (Tuesday) morning. According to National Highways North-West, the closure is between junctions 20 and 22 of the motorway to the east of Manchester and live traffic maps appear to show slow and stationary vehicles stretching for about a mile towards the Hollinwood Interchange.
