Queen's Jubilee LIVE updates from final day of weekend celebrations

It's the final day of the four-day Queen's Jubilee bank holiday weekend - but there is still lots more planned before we all head back to work.

Street parties will continue to take place across the country with several planned right here in Greater Manchester. And once again we will have reporters out and about the region to see how you are celebrating.

There are also plenty of other events going ahead such as the Irwell Weekender where a sports day celebrating the Commonwealth Games will take place at Kersal Wetlands. The Lowry's Jubilee Weekend event will also host a family swing dance party.

However people have been warned to expect some rain today with a thunderstorm warning in place until 6pm and heavy showers forecast throughout the day.

Taking place in London today is the Jubilee Pageant. The 3km carnival is set to be watched by up to a billion people across the globe and more than 10,000 people have been involved in staging the £15 million procession.

Stars including Idris Elba, Sir Cliff Richard, Courtney Love and Slade’s Noddy Holder will take to open-top buses in a through-the-ages tribute to the culture and music of the seven decades of the Queen’s reign. It takes place from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and will be broadcast live on BBC One.

It is hoped the monarch will make a final appearance on the Palace balcony to round off the weekend as it concludes with Ed Sheeran performing a live performance of the national anthem in front of the Queen's official residence with a choir made up of nearly 200 celebrities.
