A woman was rushed to hospital with 'potentially life-changing injuries' after being hit by a car in Salford. The smash happened on Cromwell Road, near the junction with Jockey Street, at around 4pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday). Police said a black Volkswagen Golf R collided with a 30-year-old woman - a pedestrian.
