All-Star closer Josh Hader agreed to terms on a five-year, $95 million contract with the Houston Astros on Friday, significantly bolstering a team that has made seven consecutive appearances in the American League Championship Series, a source told ESPN's Jeff Passan.
The Tata Group has retained the title sponsorship rights of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the next five years, sources confirmed to NDTV. The new deal will see Tata continue as the title sponsor of the marquee T20 event until 2028. Tata cracked the deal after matching the figure presented by Aditya Birla by using its Right to Match (RTM) card. One of India's largest business conglomerates, the Tata Group had earlier replaced Chinese mobile manufacturer Vivo as the IPL title sponsor. It was a two-year deal from 2022 to 2023.
