Erik ten Hag lifts lid on discussions with Man United about plans for summer transfer window
Erik ten Hag has suggested Manchester United will review their season after it ends on Saturday.
United take on Manchester City in the second successive all-Manchester FA Cup final at Wembley, where City are firm favourites to reatin the cup and clinch a second consecutive domestic double.
Champions City finished 31 points ahead of eighth-placed United in the Premier League, who were also eliminated from the Champions League group stage in December.
A trophyless finale would mark this as United's worst season since 1988-89 and Ten Hag's position is uncertain with several candidates to replace him as United manager.
United have assessed possible replacements, with Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel and Roberto de Zerbi all available. Former United coach Kieran McKenna is also open to returning to his boyhood club after guiding Ipswich Town to Premier League promotion.

Ten Hag believes United are in a better state than their form suggests, highlighting the development of certain players and the valuation of players the club plan to sell.
"After every season, you review it and we will see where we are in the project, things that we have to change but we spoke lately about it," Ten Hag explained. "There are very good things, players coming up, players developing, values coming up and on Saturday we have a big opportunity to win the next trophy."
