After completing the 2021 WTCR season with a win double, the Hungarian squad has trimmed its effort from four to two cars, re-signed former FIA World Touring Car Championship winner Rob Huff and recruited Dániel Nagy to drive its Goodyear-equipped CUPRA Leon Competición race cars.

Después de haber sido un nombre destacado del Mundial de motociclismo con dos victorias, 24 podios y tres poles en sus 15 temporadas (desde 1993 en 125cc a 2007 en MotoGP, donde volvería en 2010 durante dos carreras) y sobre todo en Superbike, donde fue campeón en 2011, se decidió a dar el salto al desierto once años después de su retirada. Compitió en la categoría principal de coches con un buggy de MD Sport con el que tuvo un accidente que le apartó de la clasificación, pero hizo buenas etapas (cerca del Top 20).
