Es algo que se puede apreciar a simple vista y que no afecta por igual a todos los monoplazas. Los coches ruedan muy cerca del suelo para maximizar el efecto de succión, pero en las rectas largas, la altura del coche varía debido a las fuerzas a las que se somete el chasis. Es entonces cuando los monoplazas pierden parte de esta carga aerodinámica y la suspensión cambia de altura lo que provoca que el coche bote.
