Toni Leistner and other times athletes and coaches clash with fans in sport
After his current side Hamburg lost 4-1 to his former side Dynamo Dresden in a German Cup game, defender Toni Leistner was verbally abused by a Dresden fan, one of 10,000 who had been allowed into the game. Rather than ignoring the abuse, Leistner entered the stands and manhandled the supporter and tried to throw him to the ground, before he was restrained by stewards. Whilst supporters and fans are supposed to be inside stadiums to watch the action and cheer along their heroes, or perhaps have a word or two with the opposition, sometimes things go a bit too far, as was the case in Germany.
