Both teams played their part in a high-scoring thriller in front of a packed Kolkata crowd, with Faf du Plessis' side eventually going through to Qualifier 2 with a 14-run win. There was some brilliant bowling and delectable strokes on display and during RCB's innings, one shot in particular seemed to have caught Ganguly's attention.

Kamlesh Jain, who is currently associated with IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, is in line to be the head physio of the Indian cricket team. The Chennai-based Jain is believed to have impressed head coach Rahul Dravid, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, NCA head VVS Laxman during an interview recently.

BCCI awards title sponsorship rights of Women's T20 Challenge 2022 to My11Circle

BCCI) on Sunday awarded the title sponsorship rights for the Women's T20 Challenge 2022 to Indian fantasy sports platform My11Circle after successfully participating in the bidding process. The Women's T20 Challenge this year will comprise four games which will be played from May 23 to May 28 at Pune's MCA stadium. Twelve international players from South Africa, England, West Indies and Australia will compete in the Women's T20 Challenge 2022. Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma, Laura Wolvaardt, Sophie Ecclestone and Deandra Dottin will be among the many prominent players.

Women's IPL: The next big thing for the BCCI?

Board of Control for Cricket in India is the sport's governing body and conducts the wildly-popular men's edition of IPL, broadcast rights for which are set to be fought over by media giants including The Walt Disney Co. and Amazon.com Inc. The BCCI wants to auction broadcast rights for the women-only games and its six league teams by early next year, its head Jay Shah told Bloomberg News in an interview in Mumbai.

IPL 2022 playoffs in Kolkata, Ahmedabad

IPL 2022, BCCI secretary Jay Shah told ANI on Tuesday. The league stage of the tournament will conclude in Maharashtra on May 22, after which the four teams will travel to Kolkata and Ahmedabad in the bio-bubble. "I am pleased to announce that the Playoff Stage of the IPL 2022 will be held in Ahmedabad and Kolkata. The mega final will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium on May 29 along with Qualifier 2 on May 27. The Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be played at the Eden Gardens on May 24 and May 25 respectively," Shah told ANI.

The National Cricket Academy is organising a camp in Bengaluru to help players from the north eastern states and those in the plate group upgrade their skill-sets under the tutelage of renowned coaches including Ashes winning bowling coach Troy Cooley. Close to 150 cricketers from the region are taking part in the camp and they will also get to interact with NCA head and India great VVS Laxman.
