Former England off-break spinner Graeme Swann picked his top four teams for the highly anticipated T20 World Cup, which is just more than a week away from kicking off in the USA. The DC team bus, along with other buses, were in readiness near the Safdarjung Railway Station to ferry players from both teams and various key personnel to their hotels. After deboarding the train, everyone went into their earmarked buses and were off to their respective hotels in New Delhi. The likes of KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Ricky Ponting, Nehal Wadhera, Marco Jansen, Tristan Stubbs, Heman Badani, Jake Fraser McGurk, Yuzi Chahal, Priyansh Arya, Axar Patel, Shashank Singh, Brad Haddin, Patrick Farhat, along with entire DC and PBKS teams, commentators Alan Wilkins and Graeme Swann, and PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta amongst others were seen entering their respective buses after arriving at the railway station.

India captain Rohit Sharma scolded young pacer Harshit Rana after his needles act in the ongoing second ODI against England in Cuttack. The incident happened on the penultimate delivery of the 32 over as Harshit's wild throw cost the team four extra runs. It was needles throw from Harshit as England captain Jos Buttler was well inside his crease. In the end, Harshit's throw not only missed the stumps and wicketkeeper KL Rahul, it also ended up hitting the boundary rope.

Australia spinner Nathan Lyon on Saturday achieved a rare Test cricket feat. In the 1st Test against Sri Lanka in Galle, Lyon dismissed Dinesh Chandimal twice in the same session on Day 4. At 10:13 AM local time, Lyon trapped Chandimal LBW, and after Australia enforced the follow-on, he got the better of him again at 12:03 PM. Responding to Australia's 654/6 declared, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 165 with Chandimal (72) top-scoring for the hosts. Australia eventually won the game by an innings and 242 runs.

The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India has started to look out for a new head coach for the men's Indian cricket team. The tenure of Rahul Dravid, who is currently the head coach of the Rohit Sharma-led side, is going to end with the conclusion of India's campaign at T20 World Cup 2024. The final match of the event will take place on June 29. BCCI has already started inviting applications for the job with the deadline being May 27.
