Watch: Graeme Swann's Hilarious Celebration After Taking Catch In The Stands

Former England spinner Graeme Swann shook off whatever rust he may have gathered to show off his fielding skills during a T10 European Cricket match between Italy and Switzerland. As an Italy player hit the ball for a six, Swann took a diving catch in the stands. He then immediately wheeled away in passionate celebration, clearly proud of his feat. While it was a rough day for the Switzerland fielders, Swann was definitely having a good day, with this catch his second in the crowd on the day.

Cuttack To Host Final Of Legends League Cricket On October 5

Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Friday was announced as the venue that will be hosting the final of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) on October 5 even as legendary cricketers described the League as a "serious" business where the superstars, many of whom are as efficient as they were in their prime, do not yield an inch without a fight. While former India batter Mohammed Kaif covered a lot of ground near the fence before taking a diving catch and made the fans nostalgic about his brilliant fielding skills, the swashbuckler Yusuf Pathan has been playing as if he has never retired.

"Wasn't Facing Bowling Of This Standard": Ex-England Spinner On Jonny Bairstow

England batter Jonny Bairstow had been in fine form against New Zealand as he registered back-to-back centuries at Trent Bridge and Headingley. He was playing an attacking brand of cricket and everyone expected the same to be the case against India in the ongoing rescheduled fifth Test at Edgbaston. However, this has not been the case so far, as Bairstow has been bogged down by the quality of the Indian attack. The right-handed batter has played 47 balls so far, scoring just 12.

India vs England: I am backing England, if Virat Kohli plays like Joe Root is right now, we are in for a treat, says Graeme Swann

Graeme Swann has picked England as the favourites to win the crucial fifth Test match against India, starting July 1 at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. The fifth Test was cancelled last year and had to be rescheduled due to an outbreak of COVID-19 in the Indian camp. India are leading 2-1 from the series played in August-September last year. Four of the five Tests were played, with one ending in a draw. Many, including England's Moeen Ali feel that if the series was completed last year itself, India would have won. The current England Test team however is operating at a very high level and have just whitewashed New Zealand, the reigning World Test champions 3-0. The new captain-coach combination of Ben Stokes and Brendon MCullum have started their stints on a high. Former captain Joe Root who was the leading run-getter overall when India played 4 of the 5 Tests last summer is still in red hot form. Root scored 396 runs in 6 innings vs the Kiwis in the recently concluded Test series, with two centuries and a fifty and an average of 99.
