Dublin survived a bracing examination from a highly competitive Monaghan side to book their place in a first All-Ireland decider since the Covid campaign of 2020.
Monaghan have long been a byword for resilience and survival instinct but they've seriously pushed the boat out this year.
Eamonn Fitzmaurice described Monaghan as "excellent shapeshifters" and said they had weapons to trouble Dublin, so long as they didn't consider themselves in bonus territory.
