'Did Not Support Jasprit Bumrah Much...': Ex-India Coach On Pacers Poor Outing During SA Test Loss
Former India bowling coach Bharat Arun was all praise for star pacer Jasprit Bumrah following his performances in the 1st Test against South Africa in Centurion last week. Bumrah was India's most successful bowler during the humiliating innings-and-32-run defeat to South Africa in the Boxing Day Test. He picked up four wickets and conceded just 69 runs in 26.4 overs on a track where rest of the India bowlers struggled. Arun was mightly impressed by Bumrah's bowling, but rued the fact that he did not get any support from his fellow pacers.

Happy Birthday Virat Kohli: Career In Numbers As India's "Chase Master" Turns 35
Vrat Kohli, the star Indian batsman widely regarded as one of the greatest to ever wield a cricket bat, is set to celebrate his 35th birthday on Saturday. From his early days, when he led India to a U19 World Cup victory in 2008 and made his international debut in the same year, Virat has consistently dominated headlines with his extraordinary run-scoring ability. Though his earliest admirers and observers had no doubts about his greatness, Virat has broken records, chased runs and won matches single-handedly at a frequency rarely seen before in world cricket.

"Three Mystery Spinners...": Ex India Bowling Coach On KKR's Plan To Tame Hardik Pandya's GT
On a high after Suyash Sharma's dream IPL debut, Kolkata Knight Riders are mulling playing three spinners against defending champions Gujarat Titans, bowling coach Bharat Arun said on Saturday. The relatively unknown 19-year-old from Delhi was a welcome addition to KKR's "mystery" spin lineup of Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy, as the trio claimed nine wickets between them to bowl out Royal Challengers Bangalore for 123 in a chase of 205 in their previous outing. On a pitch that aids pace and bounce, KKR would not shy away from bowling the trio in tandem again.

"Three Spinners Is Too Many": Ex-India Bowling Coach Bharat Arun Wanted This Player In T20 WC Instead
India's 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup looks solid on paper but not all experts and former cricketers are convinced with the sort of combinations that the selectors have picked. There remain those who feel that India have picked far too many spinners for the showpiece event. Even India's former bowling coach Bharat Arun is of the opinion that three spinners are 'far too many' as only one of them will feature in the playing XI at a given point of time. Instead, Arun wanted the selectors to take express pacer Umran Malik to Australia.
