Ireland striker Even Ferguson has been taken off with what appeared to be an ankle injury during the first half of Brighton's Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The Meathman was injured around the 35-minute mark with the score 1-0 to Chelsea, having been a handful for the home defence for much of the opening period. The 18 year old looked to damage his left ankle and appeared in some discomfort - although he was able to walk off the pitch under his own power.Ironically, Ferguson's replacement, Danny Welbeck equalised almost immediately to pull the visitors level.
