Ylber Ramadani arrived at Aberdeen dreaming about European football. It is now looking more and more a reality with every passing week as the Dons are now up to fifth with their Saturday night win over Dundee United.

Fourth would guarantee Europe although fifth could yet come into play if either Celtic or Rangers were to win the Scottish Cup, or Hearts were to reach the final against Rangers after finishing third again.

The Albanian international confirmed that was a big selling pitch from Aberdeen when they convinced him to make the move from MTK Budapest in the summer.

Ramadani said: “We are working hard every day and this is the key to our success, we have to work hard and support each other.
