WWE seems likely to name one of its next debuting stars after the late Luke Harper (real name Jon Huber). Harper, known as Brodie Lee during his time with AEW, tragically passed away in December 2020 due to a non-COVID-related lung issue.
And now, recent trademark activity from WWE indicates that they’re about to pay tribute to Harper in a big way. WWE's next potential tribute for Luke Harper is said to be linked to Bray Wyatt, his former partner, who returned to WWE at Extreme Rules last weekend.
Fightful notes that WWE trademarked the names 'Uncle Harper' and 'Uncle Howdy' recently, which are believed to be linked to Wyatt's return.
For context, the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bray, as has been speculated by fans since his return, is going to be leading a new 'Wyatt 6' faction now that he's back in WWE.
