World Cup 2023 Points Table: Australia came out in full force at the Cricket World Cup on Wednesday against Netherlands to register a huge 309-run win.

It is the second highest win margin (in terms of runs) in ODI cricket. Australia were boosted by centuries from David Warner and Glenn Maxwell, whose 40-ball ton is the fastest ever in Cricket World Cup history, as they notched a huge 399/8 in 50 overs.

In reply, Netherlands were all out for just 90. (World Cup points table) With the win, Australia have consolidated their place in the top four of the Cricket World Cup points table.

The Pat Cummins-led Australia are currently fourth with six points from five matches (NRR +1.142). India (10 points in 5 games, NRR +1.353), South Africa (8 points in 5 games, NRR +2.370) and New Zealand (8 points in 5 games, NRR +1.481) hold the top three spots.
