Woman was allegedly confronted by two men while trying to check on another woman 'being raped' by Benjamin Mendy, court hears

A woman was allegedly confronted by two 'aggressive' men as she tried to check on another woman who was 'being raped' by Benjamin Mendy, a court has heard.

The woman said she became concerned after the alleged victim told her to ‘come and check on her’ but did not know what was happening until she spoke to her later.

The alleged victim, Woman Four, accuses the Manchester City defender of raping her while they were alone in a cinema room during a gathering at his home in rural Cheshire in July 2021.

He denies all charges against him.
