Winners to get N1m as Lagos Scrabble Classics hold Sept 28

Organisers of this year’s Lekki Scrabble Classics have announced that the event will hold on September 28 and 29, at the Peninsula Hotel, Lagos.

They have also announced a N1 million prize money for the winner of the classics.The Lekki Scrabble Classics have been at the forefront of pushing the spikes high and spreading quality in its strategic contribution to Scrabble development in Nigeria and globally.

At this year’s championship, players are expected to compete in over 18 rounds of games in two main categories of A and B. Spot prizes, gifts, and other consolation rewards will be received by deserving participants at the end.

Category A will accommodate players with ratings of 1,300 and above, while those who fall into ratings from 0-1,299 will jostle for winnings in Category B.
