Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand is in no doubt Matt O'Riley's time will come - but asked who he's supposed to drop from his current squad to make way for the 23-year-old.
And while he admits the Celtic playmaker offers 'something different,' he also questioned whether the time is right to shake things up in his side.
Hjulmand called O'Riley up for their October win over San Marino as he was a late replacement for Kasper Dolberg, who flew home to be with his partner and newborn twins.
He has arguably been Brendan Rodgers' player of the season and many felt his international shot was long overdue. But he was an unused sub in that game and with Dolberg back for their final two Euro 2024 qualifiers against Slovenia and Northern Ireland, O'Riley has been left out again.
