Tyson Fury is expected to make another defence of his WBC World Heavyweight Title early this year, with the expectation being that he will be facing Oleksandrr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

However, following reports earlier this month that a date and venue had been set, things have gone quiet and no official announcement has yet been made.

The fight with Usyk would be the biggest in boxing, with the Ukrainian holding the unified WBA (Super), IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles following successive wins against Anthony Joshua.

He also holds the Ring Magazine title which was held by Fury until last summer, when talk of the 34-year-old's impending retirement led the organisation to award the belt to the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Usyk in August.
