Ahead of India's third T20I match of the five-game series against Australia at Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday, star wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan engaged himself in a witty video shared on the social media handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

BCCI took to their official X (formerly Twitter) account where they shared a 'wrong answers only' video clip of the 25-year-old.

In the video, when he was asked what was his name, Kishan replied, "VVS Laxman". Later, he was questioned about what sport he plays.

To which, he replied, "Football". The left-handed batter was asked, "Who is Suryakumar Yadav?", and he said "wicketkeeper bowler".

The future of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma has been the topic of several debates both among experts and fans in the recent past. Following India's defeat against Australia in the Cricket World Cup 2023 final, reports surfaced that the veteran duo are looking to move away from the shortest format of the sport and the conversation got more intense when they were not included in the white-ball series against South Africa. Team India's ongoing all-format tour against South Africa started on a disappointing note as the first T20I got washed out due to rain in Durban on Sunday. The second T20I will be played on Tuesday in Gqeberha and the young guns of India, led by star batter Suryakumar Yadav will aim for a perfect outing. Post the T20Is and the three-match ODI series, both the teams will be squaring off in a two-match Test series, where skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and pacer Jasprit Bumrah will be joining the squad.
While Hardik Pandya has been a regular T20 skipper in the Indian cricket team since the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final exit, BCCI secretary Jay Shah didn't want to make any comments on the much-discussed comeback of Rohit Sharma in the shortest format ahead of T20 World Cup in June-July in the Americas. Though there have been reports that Rohit will be leading the Indian team in next year's T20 World Cup, Shah said there's ample time to take a call on that matter.
