Diogo Dalot instructed Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to go over to the Goodison Park away end and applaud the travelling United supporters following Sunday night's 2-1 win over Everton.
United recovered from a goal down to beat Frank Lampard's side, courtesy of first half efforts from Antony and Ronaldo. Alex Iwobi had given Everton a fifth-minute lead with a sumptuous effort from outside the penalty area.
However, United refused to let their heads drop, drawing level ten minutes later through Antony's third goal in as many Premier League games.
Ronaldo then completed the turnaround just before half time, scoring the 700th goal of his club career. READ MORE: Ronaldo accepts FA charge The Portugal international latched onto Casemiro's defence-splitting pass to stroke the ball past Jordan Pickford.
