West Lothian Artistic Gymnastics Club are celebrating success after sealing a staggering 23 national champions. Club members across all age groups were in stunning form at the recent Scottish National Artistic Championships in Perth.

If that wasn’t enough they also picked up a further seven silver medals and eight bronze medals across the event. Head coach John Campbell and club manager Val Purves spoke of their delight and pride with the results, saying: “The club prides itself on being inclusive for all and the Scottish Championships is a great opportunity for our competitive gymnasts in women’s, men’s and disability sections to showcase their work and dedication to the sport. “We had some great results and it was good to see all the hard work coming to fruition. “Our dedicated coaching team did a great job getting the gymnasts prepared and ready for the event whilst supporting them throughout the competition. “The club is inclusive for all and it was great to see all the parents, carers and club gymnasts coming up to support the team and be inspired by the gymnasts performing.

Everyone was amazing and showed great club spirit. “We always try to make everyone at West Lothian the best they can be as individuals and that was evident.

We’re excited to see what 2023 brings for all the gymnasts and the club.” In the women’s senior competition, Tilly be produced great results with a third in the all around whilst also becoming the senior vault champion and taking bronze on floor.
